HeyCarp9.7August 11, 2026I've been thinking about this for a few days now. I wasn't sure how to put my feelings into words. This is more than a film about Ebert's life and career. It's more than a film about a man at the end of his life. It's both of these and so much more. They do a great job showing Ebert as a human. They show his get mad. They show him get frustrated with everything. You see Ebert and Chaz, his wife, at their most vulnerable. Seeing this was very powerful. There were a number of times I had to stop the film to wipe the tears from my eyes.
