This was a conflicting movie for me. Firstly, I really liked the actors, I've seen Lee Byung-Hun in other things before and I really loved the skill and the cohesion between the actors within the family. The family dyanmic was so nice and wholesome when it was good and truly disappointing (in a good way for the movie) when it wasn't. The comedic moments were very absurd and very funny. Got a few audible laughs from me and many from the audience. The cinematography was the best I've seen in any movie. People like the claim that there's a story in each shot of a movie but this one really proved it. Incredibly creative shots and incredibly clever story telling with the shots made each plot point of the movie very very very compelling. But, and through no fault of the movie, I hated watching it. This is personal and something not to delve into too much further publicly, but I just couldn't enjoy it. So many moments that just made me feel sad and uncomfortable, my nitpick of characters doing unnecessarily stupid things in movies, and perhaps a bit of language barrier disconnect that effected my overall understanding of the movie left me feeling uncomfortable and unable to get out of my seat fast enough when the movie ended. I'm genuinely glad the movie ended on a good note and there were moments I loved, but this only really proved I have a sore spot for this kind of thing
